Why Powerbatt products?

Management of supply chain and logistics, including transport of raw materials, supplies and work in progress goods between KSS facilities in a timely and cost efficient manner requires maximizing utilization of electric forklifts. EuroXpand Limited, which is the exclusive regional distributor of PowerBatt products in majority of Asian countries took the opportunity to perform desulphation of two of KSS forklift batteries.

Results and future business

The desulphated battery was 48V, 560 Ah battery with remaining 88A amounting to 16% of the original battery capacity and 51 minutes discharging time. After application of PowerBatt chemical desulphator and subjecting battery to several charging and discharging cycles the capacity improved to 391 A and a total of 3 hours 43 minutes discharging time, which is improvement to 70% of the original battery capacity.
